I am something of a restless spirit. After completing a BA in Fine Arts and English from Amherst College, I began PhD program in English and Medieval Studies at Indiana University. During that time, I became interested in Roman Literature and transferred my interests and my self to UPenn where I earned my PhD in Classical Studies. Although I was hired as a Latinist, I found myself increasingly drawn to film and po culture. These days I teach cinema-based courses for the Critical Writing program. I'm also a fitness instructor at 7 health clubs across the city, so I'll be ducking out for a bit to teach my Power Hour Spinning class.
